2024 has been an incredible year for Sideways 6. Employees shared over 17,340 ideas, generating and saving millions in revenue and cutting thousands of hours for the organizations we partner with.
This was all helped by some incredible product releases throughout the year that focus on making idea management simpler, smarter, and more effective—basically, taking the heavy lifting out of your hands so you can focus on turning great ideas into real impact.

Each community can own its own name and branding, including a banner, image, videos and description. You can choose your audience. It’s like giving each team its own identity in your idea ecosystem. Communities are a great way to keep things organized and allow leaders from across your organization to benefit from the power of ideas.

This one’s a game-changer. Token Voting gives everyone a say in which ideas rise to the top. Here’s how it works: each person gets a set number of tokens to “invest” in their favourite ideas. The more tokens an idea gets, the easier it is to shortlist and deliver.
It’s a simple, transparent, and fun way to engage more of your people in ideas. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to spotlight the ideas that really matter to your team.

We rolled out a suite of AI-powered features this year, and it all started with Improve with AI.
Employees can now “Improve with AI” before they share their idea. When they do, they’ll receive tailored suggestions from our AI ideas coach to improve how their idea is presented. For example, pitching a relaxation zone for the office? AI might prompt you to think about seating, lighting, or how much space you’ll need, as well as encouraging you to be clear about the problem you’re solving and the potential benefit to the company.
